| T.J. Malcolm Powell Position: President and CEO Malcolm Powell, President and CEO, has been involved in the junior resource industry for over 16 years. He has been President of Acrex Ventures Ltd. since mid 2000, and was instrumental in successfully guiding Acrex back into the mining sector. Malcolm brings a wealth of entrepreneurial, sales, financing and corporate communications experience to Acrex. For approximately 10 years he has served in the capacity of corporate communications and finance for the Lang Mining Group and has played a key role in raising millions of dollars for exploration by the various companies under the Lang umbrella. It is his unique combination of business acumen, financial experience and contacts gained though his years in the resource business that have resulted in moving Astorius Resources Ltd from a Canadian Capital Pool Corporation to listing on the TSX Venture Exchange. | Gregory G. Crowe, M.Sc.,P.Geo.,P.Geol. Position: Director Mr. Crowe has been a Director and President of Entree Gold Inc. since the inception of the company in 2002 and became Chief Executive Officer in July 2003. Mr. Crowe is a professional geologist with more than 25 years of exploration, business and entrepreneurial experience throughout North America, Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Entrée, Mr. Crowe was President and co founder of Azimuth Geological Inc., a private consulting company specializing in exploration and management services for junior and major mining companies such as Rio Algom Ltd., the Prime Group and Westmin Resources Limited. Mr. Crowe has served as a director of several junior mining companies. Mr. Crowe obtained a Bachelor of Geology degree from Carlton University and a Master of Geology degree from the University of Calgary. | Frank Lang, B.A., M.A., P.Eng. Position: Chairman and Director Frank A. Lang, Chairman, holds a B.A and M.A. from the University of British Columbia, is a Professional Engineer and has been involved in the operation and financing of junior resource companies for over 30 years. Frank has created literally billions of dollars in shareholder value in companies with which he has been associated. The Belmoral gold mine was discovered in 1975. Following that, Frank Lang and his former partner, Dick Hughes shared the Developer of the Year Award for the discovery of the Golden Giant Mine, the first mine in production in the Hemlo area in Ontario. Hemlo and the associated South Zone deposit were discovered in 1982 by two of the original Hughes-Lang group of companies, Golden Sceptre and Goliath Gold Mines. The Golden Giant deposit has produced gold since 1985, and has had gold reserves estimated at approximately 7 million ounces over that period. The Hemlo gold find was one of the most important Canadian discoveries since the 1930s. The trading range of the Golden Sceptre and Goliath Gold stocks went from a pre-prospectus price of $0.08 to over $30 per share after a three for one stock split. Other discoveries following Hemlo have been the Beacon mine in Val D'Or, Quebec and the Sleeping Giant Mine of Aurizon Mines Ltd. | |
| Arthur G. Troup, M.Sc.,P. Eng. Position: Director Mr. Troup a P. Eng., has served as Vice President, Exploration of Cream Minerals Ltd. Since 1997 and as a director of the Company since 1987. He also serves as Vice President, Exploration of Valerie Gold Resources Ltd. And Emgold Mining Corporation, and President and director of Sultan Minerals Inc. Additionally, Mr. Troup was President of Archean Engineering Ltd., a firm offering project management and mineral exploration services., from 1981 through 1988. Mr. Troup graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario with a M.Sc. in Geology. He has 30 years experience in the mining industry in North American, South America, Southeast Asia and North Africa working for Rio Algom Exploration, Teck Corporation, Canada Nickel Corporation and Placer Dome Canada Limited, and the Geological Survey of Canada. | |
| Robin Merrifield, C.A. (S.A.) Position: Director Robin Merrifield is a chartered accountant with substantial international experience. He obtained his professional designation while working for Deloittes in Cape Town, South Africa. Subsequent to Deloittes, he served as the South African group financial manager for the diversified interests of a large UK shipping and hotel group, where he was involved in substantial manufacturing, property development and hotel activities. His first foreign assignment took him to the Kalahari Desert in Botswana for ten years, as Financial Controller for a large nickel/copper mining complex, controlled by Ango-American Corporation. In Canada, he first served as Assistant Vice-President Finance for a Vancouver company with gold mining operations in the United States, before moving to Saskatoon, on the Canadian prairies, to become Controller for the world's largest producer of uranium, Cameco Corporation. Cameco's entry into gold mining saw him relocating to live in Kyrgyzstan for four years and act a Vice-President, Finance of Kumtor Operating Company, the operations of the large Kumtor gold project. Having return to his home in Vancouver, Canada, he how provides financial and general management consulting services internationally and locally. Clients have included: a copper/gold mine in the Republic of Georgia, and mineral exploration companies operating in Canada, South America and Central Asia. |
